Quick Scenario: The War Wagon for up to 6 adventurers of lvls 2-5. One bright and sunny day, a group of adventurers are traveling to Godknowswhere, a small town just beyond the edge of the world. They have been traveling a while when they see a large and impressive wagon with two drivers come rolling along ahead of them. If the adventurers ask(if they get the chance) one of the two drivers will tell them that "This wagon is Master Armingtons Primary Trade Wagon, and Master Armington is a verry important merchant in this area." DM: "As you start to pass the wagon, you notice it is an extremely nice vehicle, verry well built and sturdy, with some nobilitys insignia. You wont Recognize it unless you are verry familiar with this area." If a member of the adventurers is from this area, roll a d20 + wisdom (must make 15) to see if they recognize the symbol as not of a merchant but of some minor northern lord. if they do not make this check, they will not sense the danger to come. "Just before you pass this wagon, a shout errupts from one of the drivers 'NOW!!!'. Three panels on the side of the wagon open up, and your staring at 3 locked and loaded heavy crossbows." Let the battle ensue. Enemies: The wagon's occupents are as follows; a fifth level bandit Fighter, a 3rd lvl bandit fighter, a 3rd lvl bandit ranger, and a 2nd lvl bandit theif (all riding in back of the wagon.) The drivers are a pair 2nd lvl fighters. All are human. I dont want to make stats for all these NPCs, so you can use the averages from the players hand book. Teasure: All the bandits have average treasure and items. The real prize is The War Wagon, fully equiped, minus a few bolts and some brandy. If the party gets to Godknowswhere, They find that the wagon is, in fact, a stolen wagon that belonged to a lord that lives a ways north of Godknowswhere.(maybe 2 days travel from there.) They are rewarded with a hefty sum of money for the return of the wagon, if they decide to. the reward is equal to 5 times the value of a basic wagon (as much as they could sell it for). Otherwise, the party has just earned themselves a brand new meens of transportation. Brought to you by: Http://RavenRealms.Bravepages.Com (It Kicks That Much Ass)
